Welcome To my Nightmare

I was drinking rot gut beer
in a sleeping room.
Splatters of paint on the walls,
one light just a bare blub
the floors had years of filth
fleas jumping all over me
cockroaches running up and down the walls
dead bugs in the window seals
bare wire exposed from rats chewing on them
the smell of wet socks hung in the air
roof was about to collapse leaking water
down the hall we share a bath room and shower
water continually to drip drip drip
the smell of pot heavy in the air
hookers doing their thing screaming
and yelling daddy daddy daddy
please help me get outta this place
home sweet home

But harder grows the more I her entreat?
