Well There It Is Ladies And Gentlemen Poem by Bull Hawking

Well There It Is Ladies And Gentlemen

i know you knew me like
you knew me like
you're seein' yourself
in a mirror...only

like cracked a thousand
splintered ways
spreading spiders
to inside us

'till we wed a web
of woven weasels in our chest
like looking at a lake you like
where a thousand

black fish squirming
embrace a thousand white
ones at a pace
that'll make your face run

and just before they kiss
just before their noses touch
they swerve
so they can do it all again

this is water
this is waves
this is us
who come so close

who miss each other
just a little
which becomes
a whale of a lot

but it's what we do....babe
it's how we live
for one more wiggle
on the surface of this pond

Quite a fascinating poem, Bull. This is your newest one, and it is almost two years old. Do you never log in anymore?
