What A Crying Shame Poem by Julia Luber

What A Crying Shame

Rating: 5.0

The only way she knows how to entrap attention and respect
is through a demonstrative third party imposing it and threatening
those whose impulses are not to do so in the first place. Those whose
impulses can feel that she is a fraud, a murderer, a killer, and a complete
violator of all truth and justice. But not all can feel this. And not all want to.

So many really are proudly guilty and basquing in the power and pleasure of
enslaving a third party to protect them through violation. Most really are
completely hoodwinked by the killer-both emotionally and visually. They
do not want to know the truth. They do not want to honor the truth. They
enjoy being in the commotion and chaos of a delusion and a prescribed opinion.

They enjoy the psychological slavery that mandates others to not have to think
for themselves. They enjoy the closure and trap of comment. They enjoy the lack
of need to discern difference, identify charlatan, and know fraud. They enjoy the
delusion and it makes them feel powerful. And empowered. Prescribed. Important.
What a shame that this is what people are like these days. What a crying shame.

And tears eventually suffocate. And the suffocated eventually Die.
And they are proud that they have killed those who felt the warping
of their crime. Simply by being themselves. And altering the coarse of
language, not through poetry, but through mandate. And deceit. What a
crying shame. Next they won't let a baby cry.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Simply that some have enslaved "the law" into forcingpeople to "respect" them.
