'What Do You Feel' Poem by CHRISTOPHER EBENEZER

Do you feel your wounds are grieving
Do you think they can not heal
Do they get fresher and fresher
on every passing day
Do they defy medication
would they not let you rest
Do you try to let them go
but they keep on storming back
look into the hands of jesus
and you would find healing there

Do you feel you can not forgive
is your resolution so set
have they failed the trust you gave them
that you feel you would trust no more
Do they turn around and sting you
when so much you've sacrificed
Think of what they did to Jesus
on that hill so full of skulls
you would know he's also felt this
you must then learn to forgive.

Do you feel your load is heavy
is your back weary from them
Do you see you're always sinking
when you try your course up hill
Look upon the cross of Jesus
and your load will fall off thee
All of that he'll take from thee
why should you suffer much.

Is your past so dark and dirty
Do you think you've done it all
have you dined in Satan's banquet
have you eaten of his meat
Do you feel the love of Jesus
is not on for men like you
Hear the voice of Jesus saying
'go forth now and sin no more'.
