In spite of seeing the people,
- With the longing desire of drinking the inebriant liquor -
Who lie on the footsteps of the wine shops,
Run by the Government, losing their pride and dignity,
*The Government and the leaders
Who don’t think of the spoiling families of their citizens,
Due to constant drinking of alcohol
With spending all the money they earn,
*What else the good things they can do to their citizens?
Truly, they themselves run the liquor shops, then what about others.
Thanks, Mr.Razak for your nice comment. In Tamil Nadu, wine shops are run by the Government, thereby spoiling the persons and their family welfare.

Nice Mr. kanniappan. They long to drink the inebrient liquor And on the shop/s footsteps they retire; They don't their personal health or family's care; Neither the selling Govt. in their mainds they bear; What else we will get from thair greedy chair!
Excellent poem, with nice rhymes!
