What Have I Done To It! Poem by Pranayee Rachamalla

I felt my life was black and white,
So I started to paint it, now it is so bright,
That I started to go blind!
I felt my life tasteless, so I added up some spice,
Now that has become something hot and spicy, burnt my tongue that's all,
I hated the speed my life was moving on,
I started to fast forward, now struggling to match it's speed,
The world said I was silent, so I started to express,
Now they asked me to keep calm because they are going deaf;
There was no entertainment,
So I started to mingle with people,
Now it is over crowded with over acting ones.
I wanted to change my attitude, just for a change,
Now the change was success, I'm not even able to recognize myself!
I started to play with my life,
Now it started to play with me!
I felt the need to clear my memories,
Now everything is cleared, suffering with memory loss!
I gave my life a push, now the brakes failed!
