What Have We Become

ill be there right by your side
i soon as u make up your mind
never again will i be blind
leaving all our past behind

can you help me dust off the dirt from my past
and maybe this time we can last
if we just relized the bad times have passed
and remember all the times we had a blast

agian together we will be
soon everybody will see
with each other as it is meant to be
and to my heart i will give you the key
and then i will ave more than just a memory

so im here to tell you i still love you
maybe you would too if you only knew
how strung out i really am over you
and all the things i would do
just to get back with you
and now you see that my love grew
instead of it dying like you
you're here forever in my head like a tattoo
whether you like it or not i do
so dont even try to argue

so tell me what you choose
will you use her as an excuse
or will you just refuse
leaving me here with nothing but a bruise
or say something that will make me even more confused
because without you i feel so abused
and that i was only used
so tell me your point of view

i love you without a doubt
you are really all i think about
and you i cant live without
do i wanna keep it from all coming out
or let it go and scream and shout
i think ill just go in my room and pout
because i cant find any better route

maybe saying all this is really dumb
and you're really nothing but i bum
just now crawling out of the slum
but our song i will still hum
so tell me where you are coming from
because i wished you love me just some
but as of right now im so deadly numb
so plain out and tell me what have we become.

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Walter Scott

The moon's on the lake, and the mist's on the brae,
And the Clan has a name that is nameless by day;
Then gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
Gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
