What If Poem by Raymond Farrell

What If

I could be
(And so could you)
What if
Nearly to death
Driven up the wall
Around the bend
Or out of my tree
With all the what if
This or that
If I was inclined
To believe
All the speculations
About what might be
Instead of
Just getting on with life
And making
The best of it
As it comes.

Nice. Just go one doing what comes in your way. Living a life of speculation is boring and brings tension.

So very true. The question of what if is completely meaningless and insidious, 'Even if' one could never tell and or know the difference
