what is it that hurts the most? ? ?

being pushed away from the things that mean a lot,
or giving up those things when you dont want to give up;

trying hard and still watching yourself lose from the start,
or giving up the very hope that you are good enough;

holding on and hoping against hope,
or just helplessly letting it go;

being happy for the things that you still have,
or being happy for the things you once had;

thinking of it,
or trying hard to forget it;

what is it that hurts the most? ? ?
