What Is Normal? Poem by Cena Rose

Is it normal to want so much for others?
But regret for wanting so much for yourself?
Do I want to be normal?
To live a life of solitude
To know not which bounds the principles of life?
Is normal not yet normal
But a life of difference in which may have no end?
Or is it normal to know not yet what is or isn’t normal
And assume what is or isn’t?
To go on in life but knowing
That you are yet normal and create a life of normality
In which associates with
Only normal people in a normal place
Which would then create the fact that
You are not normal because we say which is or isn’t?
And the fact that many people aren’t normal
Which would make normality
Not normal?
I do not wish to be normal
For the simple fact that if I were I wouldn’t be me
And if I wasn’t me
Who would I want to be?
Normal?
