What Is Said Versus Who Said It Poem by Hebert Logerie

What is said should be just as important
As who said it
But quite often, what is said
Is less important
Then who said it
Famous people's quotations
Even the ones that make no sense
Carry more coverage, because these words
Were uttered or authored by some famous persons
For instance, "Make my day"
Or "And that's the way it is"
We all know who uttered these simple words
"Talk to the hand"
"Where is the beef? "
"I am bad"
"I am the greatest"
"You're hired"
"You're fired"
One of the quotes is fake news
Somebody had plagiarized, cheated and lied
And that's the way it used to be.
