What Is Wrong With Today's Lass And Lad?
What is wrong with today's lass and lad?
Should they adapt to all the society's fad?
Should they talk with nothing but contempt,
and take all decisions in haste and then repent?
What is wrong with today's lass and lad?
should they to look good, so illy clad?
Should the whole night they party,
and enjoy only with their friends, when they are hearty?
What is wrong with today's lass and lad?
Should they kick their parents out, when they are mad?
I decided to write this short poem from the perspective of parent/adult and understand their tribulations when they are being ignored by their children.
Nice to see such young mind and heart raising such questions. And very relevant ones. The poem seems not in agreement with some youth behaviour, but implies to the fact that there is some reason behind it which the elders fail to understand. Keep the good work up, young pen.
