What Love Is Poem by Connie L. Burchett

What Love Is

Rating: 5.0

Love is the main foundation of life’s core
You will not find any holes, leaks or chips

Love is a gift that comes from your heart
It is giving freely and without any doubts

Love is pure and sweet as it is given
Never will it be bittersweet or bitter

Love is sharing and growing together
No changes will it require you to make

Love let’s you grow and learn
It never strangles or binds

Love is given unconditional to others
You will never see conditions attached

Love lets you make choices freely
It will never make demands on you

Love is made of truth and honesty
No lies or deceit will you find

Love is nurturing on both sides
It does not kill or destroy

Love is everything mention here and more
Anything less is not love at all.

Another great poem you wrote Connie. If there were more men and women in this world who thought about love the same way that you do the world would be alot better place.
