What Love Is...
Love is a light that shines within,
A radiance that persists
In the face of hatred and abuse.
It is a smile that gives,
Despite heartache.
It is an understanding,
That not all will understand.
It is an acceptance of truth,
Especially when it hurts.
A simple kindness
Can restore faith in it.
Its greatest gift; Peace of mind.
