What Magic Is This? Poem by Ronald Chapman

What Magic Is This?

A shining evening star alone,
In the blackness of loneliness,
I never knew I would love again,

Until I saw her,
An Angel flying across a rainbow bridge,
Spanning the river of flowing time.

A delightful smile,
A stunning glow,
An Angel, flying with wings.

What magic is this?
My heart beating fast,
Time, standing still.

A fiery passion exploding inside,
Such thoughts can not be real.

A beautiful Angel takes my hand,
Her gentle touch cries out to me,
Come with me; let's explore rivers of romance,
Flowing into lakes filled with passionate love.
