What Nobody Knows Poem by JOE ORLANDO

Have you ever had a feeling that you couldn't put in words?
Have you ever hummed a song that you know you never heard?
Have you ever been familiar with a place you've never been?
Have you ever met a stranger who felt just like a freind?

Well as of late I've had some thoughts deep inside of me.
And these words I'm typing? They were blowing in the breeze.
This street is just the same, as when I wasn't here before.
And that man across the way? We've met, of that I'm sure.

Can you dream a dream when your wide awake?
Can you make a choice not knowing what's at stake?
Can you see your future with eyes so tightly closed?
Can you please explain to me what nobody knows?
