What Poems Can Do Poem by Sandra Feldman

What Poems Can Do

Rating: 5.0

What a Poem can do,
In just a few minutes,
Of intense communication:
Lift you up with a smile,
Make you dream for a while,
Leave this Earth without wings,
Make you see absurd things,
Transport you to deep feelings,
Written in splendid style,
Poems do this and much more,
Our inner thinking worlds,
They so emotionally explore.

What an enormous honor and pleasure it is to have words that I wrote, inspire feelings and inspire further poetry. That is why we are all here, to read, learn, be swept away and share. Wonderful poem, Sandra. Thank you!
