What's Become Of Me? Poem by Edwina Reizer

What's Become Of Me?

Do you think that you can be
something other than what you see?
For seeing is believing they say
and so I'll skip the mirror today.

I will not see who I've become.
I'll forget for a day what time has done.
For time's not as gracious as I thought.
It's taken its toll and so I'm caught

between the devil and the deep blue sea
wondering what's become of me?
