What’s Done Is Done Poem by Dónall Dempsey

What’s Done Is Done

Rating: 5.0

Our little room
an everywhere

where we read
Donne together.

Nakedly we lay
& we said nothing

all the day.

Our souls
lost in love’s
silences.

I in thine eye
thou in mine

mirror
to the other.

Speaking only
the gentle language

of kisses.

When we have done
(we have not done)

for we have
more.
