What's Up? Poem by Ima Ryma

What's Up?

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson
Were in the boonies, camping out.
Their bedtime sherry toots were done.
They retired to the tent about.
Later, Holmes shook Watson awake.
'Look at the sky. What do you note? '
Holmes asked. Used to such strange partake,
Watson replied, 'I see God's coat, '
'Made of billions of brilliant stars, '
'Pockets of astro purity, '
'Buttoned by Jupiter and Mars.'
'So tell me Holmes, what do you see? '

'Watson you've missed what's evident.'
'Someone has stolen the damn tent.'
