What's Wrong With Me? ! Poem by Natalie Bradford

What's Wrong With Me? !

What's wrong with me?
I can't love you
We're not supposed to love each other
It would be too awkward
We're not supposed to smile at each other
It feels too deep
We're not supposed to hold each other
It makes me feel too loved
We're not supposed to kiss each other
It is not what we're meant to do
We're not supposed to love each other
It is not like it was before
I hated you, you hated me
Life was so much simpler
What's wrong with me?
I fell in love, you fell in love
Now we're trapped
Forever in our love
GOD! What's wrong with me...

Sounds like you're stuck! The heart has reasons that reason does not know, I think the quote goes. The paradoxes are all par for the course. I take it you're breaking some kind of personal taboos to be together, that were once reinforced by your conscious attitudes, but are no longer...and so, 'not supposed to' is meant ironically, and applies to the past, not the present... Happy loving!
