What to write about?
Plight of the woman,
Society’s mishaps,
The lover’s eyes,
Or the hand that begs.
The idea, which inspires,
Or purdah (veil) for woman.
Questioning dilemma of the education’s inequality,
Or the loans, which becomes the borrower’s property.
The ever- increasing threat of global war,
Or the power imbalance between the two blocs.
The books that teach on how to live,
Or the media, which ingrains life that cannot be lived.

The issues are endless,
My thoughts limited,
But my heart speaks what my mind refuses.
Who will listen to my heart’s call,
Because words are the vocals,
Where else the heart speaks in muted tones.
