What Was Ment To Be

Rating: 5.0

happiness,
is what we want.
money,
is what we choose to work for.
and guidance,
is what we need.
some find it in a book written by the dead.
if died for us,
for his people to be free
and as one...
then why do we all have a little evil in us?
and do nothing as it passes us by on the street?
with so much confrontation,
how do we prove who is right,
when what place we may stand in,
can make oneself happy?
some follow 'leader.'
and some follow each other
or has total independence.
but does that make us a sin?
or wrong in anothers eye?
if singled out due to lack of belief,
is the other really following the right of ways?
sharing a life,
with mixed beliefs.
is one side of the street evil,
and the other pure?
maybe this whole place is hell.
if he died for all of us to be equal,
then why are we all not?
'its the way of life you choose'
is what ive been told.
but what kind of a father
would let his son lie in the gutter
as the wealthy son pushes the 'scum'
of life behind more.
for the anti-christ has changed the way of life,
sipping his crystal glassed champane,
and laughing at the lonely chapters
in the holy book of lies.
