What would you think if I told I love you?
Would it come as an unexpected surprise?
Would you be able to say it back?
Make my heart open sorrow filled eyes
Make me smile like when I see a fresh sunrise
On a glorious orange autumn day
Take my mind off to a place
Where my troubles have been carried away
Open my ears to the morning dove’s song
Like the sweet notes which your fingers play

So what would you do if I said I love you?
Could there be something more than someday?
Or is it eternal like the depths of the oceans
Where the corpses of sunken ships lay?
Where nothing comes and nothing goes
Therefore sitting there frozen they stay

So what would you do if I told you I loved you?
And expressed all my feelings so true
Could you hold my memory deep in your heart
So I could be there forever with you...
