What You Do Poem by Robin Danford

What You Do

Rating: 5.0

You make me cry
You make me laugh
You are my savior
My other half

As the moon shines in the sky
And the sun kisses the earth
You have brought such light into my life
Like a new rebirth

You touch my soul in such a way
You breath fire into my heart
With each and every kiss
It gets harder to be apart

When I see you standing there
Without me by your side
My heart begins to weep
I want to run to you, my arms opened wide

I could go on without you
But that's no life I wish to live
I would walk alone so empty
Nothing left, no love, no motive
