Before all our lights go dim
we'll look at the past
and say, remember when.
When time caught us all together
for just a little while.
Let us travel for more than a few miles.
When you and I were young and strong.
When we conquered the world
and could do no wrong.
When we smiled...
happy to call each other friend.
When we thought life would stretch out forever
and never end.
When is here, now don't you know.
Remember my friend
I told you so.
