When Cherry Winked Poem by Soha Zidan

When Cherry Winked

Rating: 5.0

When CHERRY smiled and suddenly winked
The blue sky appeared and the clouds linked
My heart was found soaring out of my ribs
but I managed to hide the unbelievable fibs
I've been longing for this moment, I told myself
But when CHERRY winked and smiled himself
I lost my mind and my heart made a din
It couldn't stop shattering and repeating again
But a soft sound crept and whispered within
saying CHERRY'S smile could give you a sin
But CHERRY would never harm or hurt
I told myself with a vast alert
those eyes could only love not flirt
this heart would hold, protect and assert

I love you CHERRY and always will
I love you truly though lost my will
