A New Day Not Like Yesterday
When we were there
thinking time will spare
the love in the air
but life wasn't kind
and never did mind
to shut all doors
and give no scores
to the loving hearts
that were on this day
wishing to stay
for another day
Remembering that day
with all its dismay
gives me the power to start
with another new heart
wishing for a different day
than the one of yesterday
I still see the sun
right there on the run
smiling with a pun,
and I still trust
the day that must
come with a lust
for a day that I trust.
The day that I will
hold myself still
and tell the world
here I am today
ready for a NEW WAY
