When I open my eyes,
I stand in surprise,
of how the world changes around me,
and even through im lost, no one has found me,
when i open my mouth,
their doubt in me goes south,
and they start to believe,
and look at me, with expression of relieve,
when i reach my hands out,
i hope i can feel what life is about,
searching its secrets, hoping to plunder,
and praying that it never leaves me in wonder,
when i let my feet touch the ground,
i begin to walk around,
looking for the best this world has to offer,
something that forces me farther,
when i open my heart,
love gets a jump start,
caring and kindness,
being able to see even in complete blindness,
when i free my mind,
and release the chains which leave me in bind,
i finally see the truth behind it all,
that lifes a pit hoping for us to fall,
when i think im going to crash,
i hope my wings will come out at last.
