When I Am With You Poem by Scarlett Treat

When I Am With You

Rating: 3.5

I can't look at you.
I'm worse than a schoolgirl...
I talk to myself, saying,
'Don't be a fool, girl! '

My heart flutters, and
My knees grow weak,
You make me stop breathing,
Bring a blush to my cheeks.

I know I'm headed for trouble,
But, somehow, I just don't care.
When I am with you,
My heart is laid bare.

In the face of the real thing, there is no hiding - too true! Yes, we've all been there and we'll never forget the experience. Sweet and real, this. Esther xxxxx

There cannot be a single woman in the world who cannot relate to this. Utterly perfect in content and flow. t x

Excellent Rhythm/Rhyme syncopation... But this sounds more like vertigo, than passion...lol! Once again your gift of image& depiction prevails, most flamboyantly, young lass! FjR
