When I Learnt Poem by Gary James Smith

When I Learnt

Rating: 5.0

When I Learnt

When I learnt how much He loved me
My heart began to break
And piece by piece it dismantled
When I learned of my mistake
At one time it was just a swear word
But now! The Word... I swear!
And Jesus Christ can save to the uttermost
Anyone... Anytime...Anywhere

He's the God of the impossible
And when you're at wit's end
He can completely change your life
And make you whole again
And put His Spirit in you
To take up residence
And never ever leave you
Which makes just wonderful sense

For the joy that was set before Him
He endured the old rugged cross
Andseeks to pass that joy around
To any who are lost
So if you are tired of running
Have I good news for you
There is a Saviour named Jesus Christ
Who would love to save you too!
