When I Touched The Tricolour Poem by Noel Lorenz

When I Touched The Tricolour

The moment I touched the Tricolour
Adrenaline rushed through my arteries.

It was the National Flag
Reminding me of the patriotic feeling.

I held it for some time
And realized why Netaji gave his life for it.

This Flag is our Freedom sign
The sign of National integrity.

I resolved at that moment
I would do my best to hold it high.

Even if it needs my life
I would happily lay it down for the Flag.

I would even keep it clean
Will fight those who are staining it

This my country is the best
India above all the rest.

Vande Mataram!
Jai Hind!
