When I wake up,
Will you still be here?
Will you still love me?
Was it all a dream?
Do I really like you?
For who you are,
Do I sparkle in the light?
Or in the shadows of the night?
Do I really know you?
Not just your face,
Or your smell that remains,
Am I in love?
Or is it lust?
Do I want to face it?
Do I want to understand?
Will you leave me in the dust?
Until the end,
Questions no answers,
Should I even think?
Should I use the signs?
Remedies don’t work for me,
Love potions are a catch,
And when I wake up,
Will your picture be on the wall?
Will it hang and smile at me,
Will you wave at the border?
Will you tell me,
Of your life in the southeast?
Can you send me a card?
Saying I heart you,
But I don’t want you to lie,
So maybe it’s better if you pretend I’m not here,
I guess you don’t have to pretend anymore,
Will I dream tonight?
Of your sweet face,
Is it sweet anymore?
Are you doing all right without me?
