When in pain…
My eyes overflow
Drenching my pale face,
My heart feels so heavy
Seems no longer I can carry it,
Darkness surround me,
All seems away from me
Left alone in this world.
When in pain…
No pal to share,
No shoulder to lean,
No hand to hold,
No soul to heal,
My mind screaming
With hundreds of question
Which fall on deaf ears,
My body turns numb
Making me still.
When in pain…
Like a dry flower
Waiting for shower of love,
Like a restless infant
Waiting for hug of comfort,
Like the waves
Waiting for shore of care,
Like the darkness
Waiting for sunshine of hope.
