When In The Darkness Poem by Mark Nichols

When In The Darkness

[Thanks to Bob McAllister]

When all the world seems it wants to choke you
Grin and bear your heart
When in the darkness of the night
Beneath the werewolf moon
Do not be scared and cower my son
For morning will come soon
Hear now the courage deep in your blood
The voices 'ere will say
The sky is not about to fall
'Twill come again the day
