When The Clouds Clap Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

When The Clouds Clap

There're nights of longin'
Nights of long dark hours
To some, nights of long hours of hard work
Meanwhile, others endure all the loneliness of darkness

For us, the unfailing promises of God
Cures all the pain of the present darkness
The pinnacle of our very own faith
That gives us the wings to soar way above the weather

For it's in what we read that allows us to be in the lead
In the reading of the Word, we've the Sword
That pierces through the darkest clouds of unbelief n' doubt
Leaving the sky filled with the clapping sound of parting clouds
