When The Lights Go Out Poem by Phil Soar

When The Lights Go Out

These days, my thoughts control me
No matter how I try
They mystify, embroil me
I really don't know why
The cosmos is my daily home
Where everything transpires
My mind lacks so much self control
I must have some crossed wires
No matter where my heart goes
The feelings take control
I think that when I decompose
I'll no longer be whole
