When The Other Boys Talk Poem by Casey Renee Kiser / snail viXen

When The Other Boys Talk

I know you are hurting so bad
Because you are laughing so hard

I know you are like me,
You never quite found your god

Every boy I ever kissed after you
Was nothing more than something to do

Killing time till fate makes its way
To my side of town again

Killing time after YOU

This baggage is so hard to carry
For my arms are folded

My heart without your heart
Is a suitcase full of wet sand

Your smile would say my pain is self-inflicted
But at this point, your smile can f*** off

I hate it when the other boys talk
It makes it hard to pretend it's you
