When Time Speaks Poem by GREY FOG

When Time Speaks

Rating: 4.5

When time speaks
The first feeling of never knowing a thing has always come as regret.
While standing still, feet well stuck onto the ground waiting for the wind to blow over my body
The new breeze, the new air rushing toward my soul made me feel the loneliness
As if it wasn't enough, a flow of regretful thoughts knelt me down
As if the sun only shines for the ones with passion in life
As if breaking a smile became a long unknown feeling, oh…how sad is that life
Repenting myself for something I wasn't aware about, my sorrow took a new turn
When I let it all out, I heard someone's voice, it was my young me whispering in tears
That's not what he wants to be when he'll grow up, that's not how he wants to live.
Right then, I realize I was dead inside, dead to roots of my existence
Being able to love and to be loved can make me get back up
Up to the people, up to being alive and to feel it on my skin
But love already tears me apart from her once
Before the light shuts down forever I struggled to shoot a last glance at the grey sky
To tell her image that when time speaks, we all become fool.
I was a passenger for her and she is still a memory of mine.
