When We First Set Eyes

When we first set eyes,
Or that's the way it seems,
I thought the love would rise,
But that's just in my dreams,
I wish it was reality,
For even just one night,
But when i open my eyes,
It's nowhere in sight,
I see a reflection of you in the mirror,
I wish you were really there,
But i know you're not,
Do you still expect me to care,
I'm telling you i love you,
And i always will,
There's a hole in my heart,
Which only you can fill,
I know i'll never see you until the end of my time,
But i will always remember that you are,
Or were mine.
