When You Came Along Poem by Jess Cadman

When You Came Along

Rating: 5.0

Life was depicted in a black and white state
My mind was constantly in a depressive condition
Suicide was on my weekly to do list,
But all that changed when you came along

I never did see the light at the end if the tunnel
Darkness haunted me like a thousand shadows
The only path I was walking down, was one toward misery,
But all that changed when you came along

An explosion of colourful happiness spread from head to toe
Love filled my heart like a bed of flowers in spring
Depression flew by like a shooting star
And butterflies tickled me inside, like a water ride,
All this happened when you came along

You make the stars twinkle and the stars shine
All I want to do is scream “your mine”
You fill my heart with laughter and love
You helped me find happiness
I love you so
I won’t let you go
Since you came along.
