When You Get There Poem by Bilal Khoukhi

When You Get There

When you get to the top, you think you can fly
Your only mistake would be forgetting to look down
To see your feet touching a surface of some kind
To remember you're a human, not better than anyone

As you get to the top, don't feel superior, just be kind
Take the chance to bring others up, you won't be outran
Life is about helping others, not about being number one
When you get to the top, be proud, success isn't a crime
