Unexpected I will say,
When you bid goodbye,
Unexpected I will say,
That your time has come.

To leave me alone,
Is not what you want,
To be with me all the time,
Is what you really plan.

But who am I to make you survive?
To bring you back to life again?
In my mind and heart I must imbibe,
The control of life is on God's hand.

When you left me confusion prevailed,
For a while there was sadness,
Dreams shattered in pieces,
But with His presence I was comforted.
