When you said your love was deep..
How deep could it be if you left me in the dark
Alone, afraid, and unable to detect the path home?
When you said your love was pure..
How pure could it be if your eyes begin to wander
And you grow irritable if I'm not 'giving out' enough?
When you said your love was unconditional..
How unconditional is a lover who holds against me
Every other person I've been with in my life?
When you said your love was forever..
How long is forever, really, because I saw you..with her
The other day, and how's that coming along?
Do you tell her the same things about something
You have NO IDEA about?
Lying to her to sleep a little closer at night, or just
Attempting to hurt another for the sake of enjoyment?
