When You Wake Up Poem by Robert Katuli

When You Wake Up

You'll realize you had been sleeping
Your empty clenched hand you'll slowly open only to discover you'd been dreaming
Trembling with much fear you'll feel your heart leaping
You'll know when you wake up

That you'd been offering to idols you'll know
To the truth of His pure Word you'll finally go
As the evil strong man's house at last is to crumble and fall
You will see when you wake up

You'll know you were bound by fear and you'll cry
You'll realize you were chained under darkness and away you'll want to fly
And how you'd been locked up in the occult you'll try to pry
You will understand only when you wake up
