Whenever a life is taken away
In a violent manner
Or lost in accidental way
We may hear it in the news
Yet we feel nothing for it
Imagine if that were yours
Wouldn't that be indignity to you
No to mention your family's grief
For every life we lost
To some it may be just only one
But to your loved ones
It is for sure one too many
