Where Are The Love Songs?
where are the love songs
I use to know
I'd wake up with loving thoughts
and out of my pen they would flow
but these thoughts are gone
they've come to their end
perhaps time will tell
if I will see them again

Love songs are forever in you heat and memory even when your are passing through a desert an oasis will soon appear. Lovely lines my friend!
Thanks Howard. Sometimes it does feel like a dessert...But others times a flowing river.
Time changes in cycles, history is repeated, one day the loss may also change in gain.
Hello and thank you for your comments. History somehow does repeat itself. The trick is to break the cycle of things that are perhaps not good! Hopes and dreams always keep my eyes on the prize of that gain!
