Where Home Is...

Home ephemeral abode
Where birds fly from
Onto seasonal migratory flights
Where soul goes
After many lifetimes journeys
Where roots form
Good intentions prolong
True desires spawn
Happiness lingers about
Joy whole throughout
Where Self evolves
Overcoming many flaws
Where home is?
If not in our sorrows
Laying low in our hearts and profound
Blissful states of being
Not even rip deep
A melancholy state of home
Where home is

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
