Where Love Is True Poem by Adams Elizabeth Oyarese

Where Love Is True

Rating: 5.0

I have begun my journey of truth
With a man nearly twice my age
He inholds such strength of youth
That defiles the doctrine of age

I find warmth in his masculine voice
A wealth of wisdom andexperience
A treasure of friendship did I unwrap
When our hearts leaped and filled a gap

The world beckons our ship to sail
Upon life's shore shall we leave a trail
Amidst her waves we bond unwaivering
For where love is true, friendship stays unending
