He does everything perfectly
He never misses a beat
Always right there, beside me
So where is he
Where is he now
When I need him
To protect me from the crowd
He says to ignore them
But how could I
Knowing he adores them
Knowing he was with them last night
There the people he confides in
And they say he's over me
So how could I believe him
When he says to over-see
I am contemplating
I am trying to unserstand
But my pain gets in the way
And my heart is knocked out of place
